With the legislative decree n. 107 of 2018, the Italian Government, implementing the delegated law n. 163 of 2017, has adapted the national Regulation on the subject of market abuse to the provisions contained in the regulation (EU) no. 596/2014. The legislative intervention of the Government has modified in many parts - even if not in a radical way, except in terms of penalties and administrative sanctions for the abuse of the market - the single text of the provisions on financial intermediation (TUF), referred to in d.lgs. n. 58 of 1998. The provision entered into force on 29 September 2018.
