Doha Development Agenda Global Trust Fund, also known as DDAGTF, was created in 2001 and, since its birth, the fund held over 2.800 workshop all over the world in order to promote and implement the WTO’s agreement with the aim of enhancing a better development strategy with a global perspective. It is important to acknowledge that last month Estonia contributed again to the fund, in order to finance further workshop for officials in Geneva and elsewhere to help them better understand and implement WTO agreements. Welcoming Estonia’s contribution to the fund, WTO Director-General Roberto Azevêdo said: “I thank Estonia for its support and generosity. This contribution will contribute to supporting our shared goal of improving the negotiating capacities of developing and least-developed members so they can continue to make their voice heard in global trade talks.”
