Articoli Correlati: ESMA - Money Market Funds Regulation (MMFR) - validation rules
On October 2nd, 2020, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s Securities Markets regulator, communicated the new technical requirements and directions for the issuance of a report in accordance with the Money Market Funds Regulation (MMFR). Specifically, under Article 37 of the Regulation, MMF managers are required to submit data to National Competent Authorities (NCAs); subsequently, these entities were the ones responsible for the transmission of such data to ESMA. In accordance with the instructions that were received by markets participants as a consequence of the issuance of the validation rules by ESMA, there were some improvements to such process. The proposed changes are not related to the published XML schemas. The changes only add new warning type validations or provide clarifications on existing validation rules in order to fix inconsistencies or ease the understanding of the rules.
