The Chinese Beijing Intellectual Property Court (i.e. the Beijing Intellectual Property Court) recently ruled on a case of violation of the exclusive rights to broadcast works on the network claimed by two companies: in this case the Court ruled that the online platforms that publish content without the authorization of the owners do not fulfill their duty of care and are therefore responsible for having favored the commission of the illegal act by third parties who are users of the online services.
