As part of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, it should be noted that since 23^rd of February 2022, the Council of the European Union has ordered additional sanctions, compared to those already in force, as a response to the recognition, by Russia, of the no-controlled areas by the government of the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Luhansk as independent entities. The sanctions, in addition to providing for bans on securities and real estate, concern important production sectors and will oblige companies to pay attention also, but not only, to dual-use goods and technologies.
