On 14 July 2022, the E.U. Court of Justice in the judgments given in the joined cases C-128/20|GSMB Invest, C-134/20|Volkswagen and C-145/20| Porsche Inter Auto and Volkswagen rejected the software installed on diesel vehicles which, at ordinary temperatures and for most of the year, reduces the effectiveness of the polluting emissions control system, which not only configures a handling system prohibited, but since it is not a minor defect, the termination of the machine sales contract is not excluded, which is always a possible remedy.
